Kansas Residents Directory is a privately operated information service. It summarizes and links to public rolls, indexes, and historical collections maintained by Kansas agencies and repositories. The service does not host those government records and has no official relationship with an agency, court, library, or record custodian.
2. Lawful Use Rules
Use Kansas Residents Directory only in ways allowed by law. You must not use the site or information found through its links to:
- Stalk, threaten, intimidate, harass, or harm another person
- Try to find a person whose location is protected by a court order or law
- Carry out identity theft, fraud, or another unlawful act
- Make an eligibility decision covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act
- Use an automated method to copy or republish substantial site content
- Disrupt the operation, access controls, or security of the service
3. Fair Credit Reporting Act Limits
Kansas Residents Directory is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. ยง 1681 et seq. Site material and outside search results are not consumer reports. Do not use them to decide eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another purpose controlled by that federal law.
4. Third-Party Links
Government portals, libraries, and outside search providers set their own terms and privacy rules. We do not control their content, access, fees, or handling of information you submit to them.
5. No Promises About Results
The service is supplied "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We make no promise that a page is complete, up to date, or free from error, or that an outside portal will remain online or return a particular result.

If a court finds one part of these terms unenforceable, the other provisions remain effective.
